About Beverly Clark

Little did Beverly Clark realize that as she planned her own spectacular wedding, she would be launching her new career. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Marketing from Menlo College in Menlo Park, CA, Beverly soon discovered that the real estate career she had chosen was not creative enough for her. It didn't satisfy her need to design, develop and produce beautiful things.

In 1982, Beverly met her future husband, Nelson, at a friend's wedding. They got engaged in 1983 and she left the real estate business. She made creating the wedding of her dreams a priority. After months of shopping, interviewing, and coordinating all the details for her own wedding, her friends were so impressed with the results that they asked her help in planning their own weddings. As more and more friends and acquaintances solicited her help and advice, Beverly realized there was an enormous need for someone to assist brides and guide them through the myriad of problems and choices facing them. She realized that she could fill that need. Her book, Planning A Wedding To Remember, was a huge success and would eventually go on to become the #1 wedding planner sold in America. The more involved Beverly became in the wedding industry, the more she recognized the need for a line of elegant wedding accessories.

In 1987, with full support of her husband, Nelson Clark, Beverly launched The Beverly Clark Collection, a complete line of wedding accessories-all original designs, hand-crafted by Beverly Clark. The Beverly Clark Collection now offers more than 800 items and sets the trend for today's bride. As a designer, Beverly's creative vision boldly fuses the grace and spirit of old traditions with cutting edge design. She is continually redefining the term "bridal accessories" and creating tomorrow's heirlooms.

Beverly has appeared on several networks and cable television shows, including LEEZA, TODAY, CNN's Showbiz Today, Turner Entertainment Network, and HGTV's top rated "Carol Duvall Show" and "Party at Home". She has been featured in major newspaper and magazine articles including Bridal Guide, Complete Woman, Income Opportunities, Business Week, Los Angeles Magazine and Romantic Homes. Clark and her staff field numerous calls from Hollywood studios requesting permission to use her top-selling wedding planner and bridal accessories as props in film and TV productions. Well-known celebrities and music personalities such as Delta Burke, Elizabeth Taylor, Heather Locklear, Joely Fisher, and Kathy Najimy have also used her accessories for their own weddings. Beverly also coordinated Lifetime Television's "Weddings of a Lifetime" Fall 1997 special.

Having always been the trendsetter in providing the most current resources for brides, Beverly and her husband Nelson launched WeddingLocation.com in 2000. This innovative wedding planning tool was in response to the number one question Beverly received from brides over an eighteen-year period: "Where should I have my wedding?" With the advent of the Internet and the statistics that over 80% of brides are now doing some aspect of wedding planning online, WeddingLocation.com is the only website dedicated exclusively to wedding locations. Beverly's other websites include BeverlyClarkTravel.com, where the experts specialize in booking romantic travel, and HoneymoonLocation.com, a site dedicated to assisting couples to find the honeymoon location of their dreams. All of these endeavors are backed by the eighteen-year reliable brand name of Beverly Clark: a name synonymous with elegance, excellence and expertise.
